Sam Burton

About

About Me

For the past five years, Sam has been working as a Photographer/Content Producer, predominantly across the North of England. Possessing an affinity for technical accuracy and a clear understanding of the importance of narrative - he endeavours to create detailed, yet compelling work grounded in reality. Throughout his practice, he aims to employ a unique creative vision supported by practical, industry experience and an extended knowledge of classic photographic theory and history.

Practice & Experience

Sam is most interested in people and their relationships with their environment, and others around them. The majority of his personal work naturally follows his interests and research; whilst commercially, his work ranges from covering corporate events, to product shoots and retouching or producing promotional/marketing material. Sam is experienced both in-studio and on-location, handling projects from conception through to post-production, having worked across the UK as well as in London for various periods of time.

Preferring a slower, more precise practice - his work is created using photographic film where possible, alongside digital mediums for both commercial photography and videography.
